Kennedy's haircut
We went to the Yellow Balloon to get Kennedy's hair cut for his birthday. He sat down and I started asking him how he wanted his hair..... I asked If he wanted it like Benjamin? Or dads? He said he wanted his hair like him. I asked the man to cut his hair as short as possible without it sticking up. When his haircut was almost done he looked in the mirror and started crying.... He said he wanted his hair like him. It was adorable. His hair was styled different and he just wanted his hair done the same way like Always. He looks like such a big boy now. Tomorrow my little man will be 4!! Where does the time go?

So Jimmy surprised us for Christmas this year. He booked a trip to Disney world Orlando for the four of us. At first I was shocked and could only see all the work associated with the trip. But I am so glad that he did put this trip together. Our trip was 6 days. We stayed at the Royal Plaza hotel. I was nervous because this was Kennedy's first flight.
Day 1: direct flight at 8AM from LAX
Kennedy did amazing on the flight! He played on the ipad, the ds, and the flight had direct tv so he watched Disney channel the whole way there. Avanti did great too. On the other hand- I didn't. My allergies were HORRIBLE. The whole flight I sneezed and blew my nose. My eyes were red, I was miserable.
We arrived in Orlando safe and sound. Got our bags and took a tram to the hotel. We left our bags and headed over to get our Disney tickets. We went to downtown Disney that night. We had dinner at the T-Rexx restaurant. The whole restaurant is dinosaur themed. We walked around and explored all downtown Disney. Lots of shops, food, snacks and entertainment.
Day 2: Hollywood studios
Got up, got ready and had breakfast at the giraffe cafe at the hotel. We jumped on a tram and headed over to the park. We got there and took some pictures in front of the Christmas tree. We started off with the Beauty and the Beast show. It was so cute and a great show. We walked over to take pictures with Jake from the neverland pirates, Handy Manny, Mickey Mouse, Wrecked Ralph, Vanelope, and the Incredibles. We got on toy story mania, the backlot tour, a great car stunt show. But at night it was the best, the back of the park was decorated with lights every where. It was beautiful. It made it feel like Christmas. We had dinner at Pizza Planet from Toy Story. Avanti and I got on space tours, we got a scenario that we've never got in Cali... the spaceship traveled to earth and it had the gorilla guy. We headed over to see Fantasmic. Poor Kennedy fell asleep. The show was great and it was a perfect day. Just the four of us.
Day 3: Magic Kingdom
Got up, got ready, had breakfast downstairs and got on the tram to Magic Kingdom. It was a great feeling to be standing in front of park. We took pictures in front of the park and walked in. The first character I saw was Marie from Aristocats. She was super cute. We took a picture in front of the Christmas tree as well. The view of the castle was breath taking. The streets and stores were so big and the blocks were longer. We headed over to frontier land. We got on Aladins magic carpet, jungle cruise, tarzans tree and the tiki room. We headed over to pirates of the Caribbean. After that we headed over to splash mountain. Avanti and I got on it. We walked over to the haunted mansion. Soon after we had dinner. After dinner we gpt pn peter pan and then we sat and watched mickeys symphony, then goofys circus ride, we walked into a few shops then headed over to the castle. The castle huge. It looked so pretty at night. We took a few pictures and found a good spot to watch the electrical parade. After the electrical parade we walked over to monsters inc comedy show, stitches alien invasion, the cars in tomorrow land, the people mover. By the time we left the park it was midnight. I was so surprised that jimmy made it all day. I really thought he would be moody by 8ish. He did great. We got home late. But it was a great day.
Day 4: Epcot
Same routine... Got up and ready and we headed over to Magic Kingdom for a little shopping and to get on small world. I can say that I like Disneyland better than MK ride. Avanti bought a key to the magic kingdom and a shirt and Kennedy bought a Jake pirate sword. I got to pick out my Xmas present... I gotta Dooney and Bourke Disney purse. It has all of the four parks on the bag. I like it because its exclusive to disneyworld. I had them deliver the bag to the hotel since we would be out all day and I didn't want to worry about an expensive item all day,
We took the monorail over to Epcot. That was the park that Jimmy was looking forward to the most. We headed straight to Norway because we had a lunch reservation at Arkeshim castle. We had lunch with the princesses. We met princess Aurora, Jasmin, Snow White, Belle. The food was delicious... Traditional Norwegian food. We had meatballs with berries and mashed potatoes. Kids had pizza and hotdogs and the deserts were amazing. After lunch we headed over to China and Mexico. Mexico had a boat ride like Norway. It was inside of a pyramid. We headed to the big Epcot ball after and got on a ride that takes you through the ball. They have a lot of high tech games and attractions. We walked over to see Nemo. The Nemo ride is similar to the little mermaid ride. We talked to crush the turtle and looked around in the aquarium. Kennedy was loving that because we don't have that back home. We soon headed over to get on a boat tour of how Disney grows their own fruits and vegetables including fish farming. Kennedy was lucky enough to get soaring California for the first time. It's the exact same thing we have back home. We headed over to walk the countries. We went to Canada, France, Morocco, Italy, Germany, and Japan. The buildings looked amazing. Very authentic. Jimmy bought himself a personalized stein in Germany and I bought a glass of wine and ended up buying the bottle because it was so good. We headed out of the park around 9:30. We ended up taking a cab home.
Day 5: Animal Kingdom
Animal kingdom was fun. We all enjoyed Dino land. Especially Kennedy. The dinosaur ride was so cool. The safari truck ride was amazing, so many cool and exotic animals. My favorite part of the day was lunch at the biggest rainforest cafe in the world...the one in animal kingdom. Then Avanti and I got hena tattos, I loved them. I would get it done for real. The girl was amazing. We had a great day. Nemo, rafiki, and the Nepal ride. Afterwards we went to city walk and met up with Heidi and Michael, we had a great dinner. OVERALL, WE HAD a great trip. Jimmy truly made this Christmas special and we will never forget it.

Holidays 2011
We had Thanksgiving at our house last minute because no one planned anything so we celebrated Turkey day here. We went to Jimmy's parents for a little bit (I hadn't been there for over 6 months) but it was a nice visit. We really didnt do shopping the next day. I wen to Target but that was about it. Not to impressed. This year was hard to shop for gifts because Avanti has everything she wants and I had to come up with stuff just for her to have gifts to open... but luckily she added a few things to the list and it worked out. Kennedy was easy... trains, dinosours and cars.
For my mom and dads birthday we put together a surprise birthday/wedding anniversary party at Letty and Marks house. We invited some friends and family and my brother paid for the mariachi. It was a great party. I got a sitter for the kids to watch them at the party and my parents were blown away. They kind of caught on when they showed up and saw bright lights but when they were sitting down chit chatting and the mariachi just walked in playing the mananitas it blew them away! my mom jumped because she didnt expect a mariachi. THey had so much fun. I love doing nice things for them. I wish I could do more.
For Kennedy's 3rd Birthday we went to Disneyland and had a character breakfast with my parents. We went to Paradise Pier Hotel and did the Mickey and Friends breakfast. We saw Mickey, Minnie, Stitch, Baloog, and a few others. On the day of his birthday we went to Scooters Jungle, and to Claim Jumpers. We stopped by the party store and lucky for us they had a dino supply section so he got the pinata, plates, goodie bags, candle and balloon. He really enjoyed his birthday. Avanti and him broke his little pinata in the backyard and it was really nice.
Christmas we went to Jimmys parents for a little while then Letty's house. Oh what a day. So we got invited to a bday party next door and we were getting ready to go..... I asked Avanti to go bathroom before we left and she ran to the bathroom... Kennedy ran behind her she slammed the door and caught his pinky finger!! OMG I thought it was broken. It looked zig zagged. I iced it, I hugged him and nothing. I took him next door to the party and he just wanted to be with me. So off we went to the emergency room. I could tell he was in pain but he was so cute. When I was checking him in ..he stuck his finger thru the window and asked the little if she was going to fix his booboo. They took a look at his finger, asked how it happened and recomended xrays. After the xrays we found out it was fine and that it would be sore for a while. He had the ugliest looking blood blister that took a while to go away. Poor Avanti felt so bad for closing the door on her brother... but it was both their fault for running in the house.
New Years. We went up to Sacramento. The day we were leaving Kennedy threw up so we left a day later. Spend New Years Eve at Old Town Sac with my parents, bro and Chicol and Yuri. After that we went to one of their friends house and then off to the room. We stayed at Travis Air Force Base. On New Years Day we went my aunt Hermenlinda's house and then back to the base to meet with my other aunt Adela. We ended up ordering pizza and hanging out in our room. The rooms on base are apartments. It was a lot of fun. We went home the next day.
I am very thankful that the year ended with all of us safe, healthy and alive. and it began the same way as well. I love my family and am glad to have them all around.

Summer
I've been horrible this year at keeping our blog updated.
July:
In July we celebrated Avanti's birthday again! She had three birthday celebrations. A party at stough canyon, a princess day at Disneyland and a cake and piñata at home the day of.
August:
I had a birthday. I did my birthday party at my favorite spot... the Hollywood Way. My friend Sasha made the cupcakes, owl cake pops and cookies. I had a great turn out and had a smile on my face the whole night. The next day I was not the greatest but it was worth it. Thanks to Jimmy I had a great birthday. I had all the treats I wanted the night of and the kids and him got me some really cute cards and gifts. I got my iPad 2 with all the accessories, a gift card for my Disney cell phone case and a few Wii games that I wanted.
Went to Disney a couple (a lot) this summer.
Avanti started second grade! On August 15th Avanti started 2nd grade! Can you believe it. Already 7. I love her teacher and am sure she will have a great year.
September:
Both Avanti and Kennedy started classed thru parks and rec. Kennedy is taking preschool fun and a toddler gym class and Avanti is taking Yoga.
Avanti auditioned for Nutcracker and got a part, she is an ange in the production this year.
We went to Disneyland with Jennifer, Kaylin and Ben and had a great time. At the end of the day Avanti was running out of a ride, tripped, fell and chipped her front tooth! Ruined my day! luckily, the xrays showed that nothing was damaged or moved. It was all ok but very scary.
The kids made their own pizzas for dinner and they were really good.
