Halloween

This was Kennedy's first halloween. We had our usual routine. Dance class, rehearsal..... then we went to Aaliyah's 2nd bday party and went trick or treating with them. We came home and just watched TV. Not a whole lot going on but it was nice. The kids had a good Halloween week. Avanti dressed up as a High School Musical Cheerleader during the day and as Sleeping Beauty at night. Kennedy was an Elephant. Jimmy and I didnt dress up.

Halloween Time

We went to Halloween Time at California Adventure on Weds. and it was so much fun. It was like a grad night for kids. They had four different clubs with a DJ and characters dancing... Both Avanti and Kennedy loved it. We didnt get on any rides but some were open. We took pictures with several different Disney characters and vilans. Avanti dressed up as Strawberry Shortcake and Kennedy was a Handsome Elephant. The four of us had such a great time.We will most def be doing this every year.

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland with the Viteri Family for Aaliyah's birthday and Carlos. We had a great breakfast with Minnie and her friends and then we had a front of the line pass so we didnt wait in line for any of the rides. The girls made there own hats in toon town and we had lots of goodies all day. Kennedy's been to Disneyland a ton this year, but I think this trip he really enjoyed himself. He got to try new food, he got on the marry go round, winnie the pooh, pirates of the caribbean, and lots of fun rides.

Jimmy's burfday

We celebrated Jimmy's birthday at one of his favorite places... Buffalo Wild Wings. According to him, the Vegas one is much better. I love wingstop. Well, back to my story.... We had dinner with a few friends and at night we went to the Burbank Bar and Grill with Letty. It was fun. Jimmy turned 26! Happy Birthday Jimmy!!!

LA County Fair

I know this is out of order... but it's ok. We went to the LA County fair opening wknd and only paid $1 to get in. Oh my, it was so hot!! It was the whole family, my parents, my bro and his girl and cuz, and the four of us. We went to breakfast and then to the fair. We saw a goat give birth. It was fun but the area where they use to have mariachi and florklorico was filled with Central America stuff. Other than that we had fun. It was nice to go to the fair with my parents like when we were little. I love my family :)

Kidspace Museum

Last week we went to the Kidspace museum for Latino Heritage Day. The kids and I went with Stephanie and her two kids. The kids had lots of fun. They played inside the museum, they did two crafts and they learned how to dance florklorico. It gets pretty cold in Pasadena at night. Overall, we had a nice time. It was Kennedy's first trip to a museum.

First Scare

Ok, so two Sunday ago we finally had a chance to sleep in. Avanti of course wakes up super early when she doesnt have to go to school. Kennedy woke up too but I was ignoring him- he was just baby talking and playing with his feet. Next thing I know I hear him throwing up... So I get up real quick and hes just throwing up and throwing up and I pat him in his back... next thing I know he spits up my earing. I fell asleep with my hoop earings, they're not that big (thank God- if not he would have swallowed it) Kennedy took off my earing and I didnt even realize it. I was so relieved. Now I make it a point to take off my earings at night.
