Kennedy's 1st Birthday

Kennedy was born on December 22, 2008 at Glendale Memorial Hospital with the help of Dr. Cabrera. He was 5 lbs 8 oz. He had to stay at the hospital two weeks and when he was released he was close to 6lbs. This past year has been lots of fun with two kids. Kennedy does not like baby food. He likes his boob and house food. He loves Mickey Mouse and animals. The year flew by and now our little man is ONE. He is 29 in and 20 lbs. He has 7 teeth and it looks like more are coming in. He says different words like "mamma, pappa, tu, ati (avanti), du du(dumb dumb- watch wat you say in front of kids), boo (his drink), buh bye, and he is really good at repeating sounds.

Santa

Happy New Year! I am still backed up so until I catch up, everything will be off by a month or so. So December was a super busy month for us. We had a ton of rehearsals for Avnanti's play. She was in the nutcracker. We had Christmas pictures, parties, shopping and Kennedy's birthday. Everything turned out great! We spent Christmas Eve at Jimmy's parents house and at my Uncle Juan's house and Christmas day at home. What a difference from last year. Last Christmas I was running back and forth from the hospital and this year we were all at home. It felt so good.

Kennedy cried when he took pictures with Santa so I had to jump in so he would be distracted.

Veterans Day

Happy Veterans Day! I have fallen so behind on our blog. Im sorry. Well, for Veterans day we went to Disneyland and had a great time. Avanti got her face painted at Pixie Hallow and she met Tinkerbell, Terrance and Silvermist. We got on a bunch of rides and really enjoyed the park. It wasnt too crowded and with all the Christmas decorations up, it really made it feel like the Holiday season. Thank you Jimmy for serving our country.

Merry Go Round

So today I went to the Topanga Mall to do some early Christmas shopping. That mall has all the stores I love.... Nordstroms, Macys, Target, Disney Store, H&M, Baby Gap and more.... Well I got Kennedy and Avanti really cute shoes at Nordstroms and we had lunch over there too. We got on the merry go round and Avanti wanted to go on the second level so we went up the stairs and Avanti wanted the zebra so I had to sit like two rows down with Kennedy. Kennedy sat on an elephant. He loved it. It was his 2nd time on the merry go round ever. He LOVED IT!!! He kept smiling and waving and even tried to clap but he would grab on. When the ride was over he looked puzzled... when I pulled him off .... he CRIED. He kept crying... poor thing wanted to keep going. I thought it was so cute. My poor baby... I will be taking him back cuz I didnt finish my shopping.

Halloween

This was Kennedy's first halloween. We had our usual routine. Dance class, rehearsal..... then we went to Aaliyah's 2nd bday party and went trick or treating with them. We came home and just watched TV. Not a whole lot going on but it was nice. The kids had a good Halloween week. Avanti dressed up as a High School Musical Cheerleader during the day and as Sleeping Beauty at night. Kennedy was an Elephant. Jimmy and I didnt dress up.

Halloween Time

We went to Halloween Time at California Adventure on Weds. and it was so much fun. It was like a grad night for kids. They had four different clubs with a DJ and characters dancing... Both Avanti and Kennedy loved it. We didnt get on any rides but some were open. We took pictures with several different Disney characters and vilans. Avanti dressed up as Strawberry Shortcake and Kennedy was a Handsome Elephant. The four of us had such a great time.We will most def be doing this every year.
