Falling behind

I have been slacking off when it comes to posting. Since the last post I've been super busy. With Avanti, she is still doing tuturing twice a week and dance. Kennedy is doing Gymboree and he loves his class. He loves bubbles. With Boosters, we've been doing a lot to raise money for the school. We had a fun fundraiser at McDonalds a few weeks ago and raised almost $1000 for the school. With Jimmy, he's still working and going to school. Our plan is to move out this summer so I hope it happens. We've been staying at home because we've been so tired from everything going on during the week. Kennedy is now walking and he is talking more. Kennedy's words are: mama, papa, dadda, ma, ati, mana, bird, buzz, bubble, tu, boo, he waves, claps, nods, and says yes and no. He also blows kisses and gives nice juicy kisses by sucking on your cheek. Im down to nursing twice a day so hopefully within the next month he will be off the boob completly. I will post up pix soon.

A Day at Disney

Last year and this year we've been going to Disneyland a lot. We usually do but now we got smart about it and finally got the pass in the beginning of '09. The kids really have a great time and you never get tired of going there. We went for MLK day since Avanti didnt have school and we went to the pirate island and went through caves, found treasure and just walked around. We also got to see the Princess and the Frog parade and of course, Avanti loved it.

Da Big ONE

Kennedy's birthday party was a success! We had it at Travel Town museum and it was Thomas the Train theme. We had mostly friends and some family. Kennedy was asleep for the first hour of his party but after he woke up he had a blast. We had lunch inside of a train caboose, played games, we all took a ride on the train and had a piƱata for the kids. All the kids got a conductor hat and a red bandana and they looked so cute! I was so tired by the end of the day but it was worth it.

Kennedy's 1st Birthday

Kennedy was born on December 22, 2008 at Glendale Memorial Hospital with the help of Dr. Cabrera. He was 5 lbs 8 oz. He had to stay at the hospital two weeks and when he was released he was close to 6lbs. This past year has been lots of fun with two kids. Kennedy does not like baby food. He likes his boob and house food. He loves Mickey Mouse and animals. The year flew by and now our little man is ONE. He is 29 in and 20 lbs. He has 7 teeth and it looks like more are coming in. He says different words like "mamma, pappa, tu, ati (avanti), du du(dumb dumb- watch wat you say in front of kids), boo (his drink), buh bye, and he is really good at repeating sounds.

Santa

Happy New Year! I am still backed up so until I catch up, everything will be off by a month or so. So December was a super busy month for us. We had a ton of rehearsals for Avnanti's play. She was in the nutcracker. We had Christmas pictures, parties, shopping and Kennedy's birthday. Everything turned out great! We spent Christmas Eve at Jimmy's parents house and at my Uncle Juan's house and Christmas day at home. What a difference from last year. Last Christmas I was running back and forth from the hospital and this year we were all at home. It felt so good.
Kennedy cried when he took pictures with Santa so I had to jump in so he would be distracted.

Random Pictures

I havent been posting like I should be so I am putting up some random pictures from our family outings.

Veterans Day

Happy Veterans Day! I have fallen so behind on our blog. Im sorry. Well, for Veterans day we went to Disneyland and had a great time. Avanti got her face painted at Pixie Hallow and she met Tinkerbell, Terrance and Silvermist. We got on a bunch of rides and really enjoyed the park. It wasnt too crowded and with all the Christmas decorations up, it really made it feel like the Holiday season. Thank you Jimmy for serving our country.
